Some top Nigerian public figures, such as actor Yul Edochie and the founder of Omega Power Ministry, Apostle Chibuzo Chinyere have rushed to the aid of homeless veteran Nollywood actor Kenneth Aguba.

This is coming shortly after well-meaning Nigerians on July 3rd shared photos of the bit-sized actor in a shabby environment at a park, near Abakpa in Enugu State.

The viral photos of the frail looking actor had sparked an outcry on social media..

Reacting to the viral photos, a popular preacher, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, via his verified Facebook page, offered help to the actor by giving him free accommodation.

Apostle Chibuzor in a bid get more information about the small-sized actor further asks anyone with the actor’s contact to reach out to him to finalize the process.

He wrote; “Who knows the contact of this actor should tell him to contact me immediately. Instead of him sleeping on the streets, I apostle chibuzor chinyere GO of OPM is giving him free accommodation in one of the OPM free estates.

“But I will not be establishing any business for him, only free accommodation. FEEDING? No problem.''

Shortly after the Apostle offered the homeless actor a free accommodation, Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie on Monday night via his verified Twitter handle, demanded that Aguba shares his bank details online so that contribution could be made.

He also assured fans that after funds are crowd-sourced for the aged-actor, he will never lack again.

In his words: “This one is a small matter. I don’t believe in too much talk or time-wasting. Just get him to do a short video calling out his account details and post it online.

“We will do crowdfunding for him. He’ll never lack anything again."

Meanwhile, the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ejezie Emeka Rollas refuted the claims that veteran actor, Kenneth Aguba was abandoned.

Emeka made this known in a statement issued on social media, where he noted that some members have been supportive in both provisions of accommodation and medical intervention for the actor in the past four years.

He also frowned at the shade thrown at the AGN since the photos went viral describing it as the handwork of detractors.
